Hello everyone!

l am back from a fabulous holiday cruising from Honolulu to Brisbane with lots of new photos to scrap.

I'm sharing today a layout of my husband and l using papers and embellishments from the Alena Collection from 49 and Market which are all in the Limited Edition Kit from My Creative Scrapbook in their October kit. They have great kits with tons of papers, embellishments, flowers etc. This one also came with a stencil that l used on the background

I started with a coat of gesso over my paper - Alena Peek-A-Boo, and then used paste with the stencil to add texture to my background.

The layers under my photo are a combination of Ephemera Bits and Laser Cuts

I have fussy cut some flowers and combined them with some laser cuts to create the red flower cluster

I have mirrored the blue flowers in the opposite corner and layered more red flowers

My top corner collage is made up from Ephemera and Laser Cuts

The arch is from the laser cut elements

The rubons are from the Spectrum Sherbet collection

Quick share of a layout using 49 and Market Spectrum Sherbet -  l used Painted Foundations Prism paper for my background

I have added Strawberry Lemonade rubons to the two top corners and under my photo near the flowers

I have layered ephemera pieces, again from the Strawberry Lemonade collection, under my picture and a flower cluster in the bottom left corner

I dry brushed gesso onto the flowers and some of the torn layered elements

Oh My Heart

 Hi there, 

Today l'm sharing another layout using the beautiful Spectrum Sherbet collection from 49 and Market.

I have used the Classics - Splendored paper as the background and layered on top with Painted Foundations - Patchwork

I have added lots of layers from the Strawberry Ephemera and Essential Laser Cut Element packs under my photo

The flowers, leaves and butterfly on the left side are from the Strawberry Lemonade Laser-Cut Elements. I've popped them up to add dimension.

I scatted some rubons around the layout as well

My title is from 2 Crafty, their range of chipboard is totally amazing!!

I first painted it with gesso, then Dylusions orange paint and finally embossed it with a clear powder to give the glossy look. I rubbed some of the orange to make it lighter in places, even though it's hard to see in the photo

Sharing another layout using the beautiful Spectrum Sherbet Collection by 49 and Market. I truly cannot get enough of this collection, it is so versatile. Today l have used a photo of my daughter and myself

For the background paper l chose Painted Foundations - Washed, and under my photo l have layered paper scraps and laser cut elements to give dimension

For my title l embossed the word Smile with pink before swiping it with Finnabair Rose Gold metallic wax

I chose a couple of sentiments and added one to the photo stack and the other under my title.

I added a mixture of flowers and microbeads for added effect

 l finished the layout with transfers on the background and added a chipboard tag under the flowers on the bottom. I'm loving how many options there are in the Strawberry Lemonade transfer set!

Everyday Magic

Today l am sharing a layout using the beautiful Spectrum Sherbet Collection from 49 and Market. I am in love with this collection, all those bright colours are gorgeous and everything matches so well together.

Lots of layers were added under my photo using the Sherbet Chipboard Set and the Essential Laser Cut Elements

I added extra embellishments using Finnabair Mechanical Moulds. I painted them in orange after first covering with gesso, then sprinkled glitter while wet so the glitter sticks once dry.

Finally l finished the layout with some rubons from the Strawberry Lemonade Transfer Set,  and added micro beads and mini Prills

Making Everyday Memories

 Hello there, 

Checking in today with a new layout. It's not often l have the kids nearby and this photo is a rare treat.

My papers are from 49 Market Vintage Artistry Collection

I have crackled the frame l used to highlight my photo and added extra texture with paste and paint

All my chipboard is from 2 

Crafty. I have painted two colours on the title. The heart chain has been rubbed with Rose Gold metallic wax from Finnabair.

Finishing up l added some stamping, white micro beads and ink splatters

What a nice sight to see the sun shininng today after all the rain. Hopefully eveyone has been safe and dry.

I'm sharing a smalll canvas board today using the lovely Prima moulds and the very cute scissors from 2Crafty

My background has tissue paper that l added metallic paints after first applying gesso

Finnibair waxes in Indian Pink, Rose Gold and Silver were used on the mould pieces

Getting Married

 After many years on my own l found happiness and was married during covid with all its unusual rules. We could only have 30 guests at our wedding, which actually wasn't all bad!

Here are a couple of layouts featuring lovley Prima flowers, chip board from various companies, one being 2Crafty, Sizzix dies and some fussy cutting using papers from 49 and Market 

I used crackle texture paste with a stencil for my background

The chipboard title has a lovely shine due to metalliic paint

The hearts have been rubbed with wax

The chipboards have been painted in pink and glossy accents added 

I cut up a vine from 2Crafty, painted in olive and added between my flowers

Playing along at Dusty Attic

 

Hello there everyone

Today l'm playing along with the Dusty Attic mood board for January

It's really easy, all you have to do is use these beautiful colours in your creation

Here is my layout

My chipboard is from Dusty Attic, paper from 49 and Market Vintage 
Artisty Range and flowers from Prima

My background has been stencilled, metallic paint added and some random stamping

I didn't have the right coloured flowers so l painted them, some have metallic paint and others acrylic paint topped with seed and micro beads

I have also added some sea themed embellishments using Prima moulds

My title and photo corners are painted using a blue metallic paint

The photo corners have a touch of Old Silver wax 

The 'Love with Passion' is from a Crafters Workshop stencil

 I have rubbed Old Silver and Blue Lagoon wax from Finnabair over the top

Believe Mixed Media Layout

 Hi there eveyone

Today l have created a layout with lots of lovely embossing

My background was first stencilled before 2 inks were applied

All my chipboard was covered in white gesso, then embossed using Aged Rose from Stampendous

I love the mottled effect it creates

To my title word from Dusty Attic l applied 2 metallic paints, pale pink and gold, and once dried added touches of silver metallic wax to add more texture

The heart circle is from 2Crafty
