Happy Monday!

Today l'm sharing a layout l did of my daughters year 12 formal from earlier this year

I have painted chipboard cogs  & the diamond chipboard piece with metallic gold, stamped on the background over gesso that l applied first

Lets Get Sketchy

June is almost over and l am sharing a layout at Lets Get Sketchy using lots of stamping.

Here is my layout


I have coloured some of the stamped flowers and have again used  Freckled Fawn products that we were given to use throughout our layouts this month. This time l used the wooden shapes to add another flower dimension.

I must add that my inspiration for this layout came the very talented Di Garling, she is such a talented scrapper.

Sharing this week

Hello there, this week over at Lets Get Sketchy a new sketch is up and Team A are on show!
You can see HERE what they have done and upload your layouts to play along.

This month we are using products supplied by Freckled Fawn, click on the link to check out their site as well.

Here is my take on the sketch
The Freckled Fawn products l used are  - wooden flower circles, lace, washi tape and the journalling spot with cork backing

Go Girl!

Hello,time again for this weeks sketch at Lets Get Sketchy

I have used a photo of my daughter from a year ago and here is my layout

Some close ups
On my background l first put gesso, then gelatos and finally ink and liquid pearls

I have added glitter to the roses to add highlights

Moments like these!!

Hi there, 
Today l am sharing a layout l did for this month for More Than Words, you can find all the details HERE and join in the fun.

You have to use 'clocks' and the word 'MOMENT'. 
I chose a photo that was taken on my son's 21st birthday, what a group of crazy, fun loving boys!

This weeks sketch

Hi everyone,

I received a nice surprise this week when l found out l was the Mystery Winner over at More Than Words, check them out.  This is a fairly new blog with an interesting take on a monthly challenge and they have become an instant hit! Thank you ladies for my prize!


Another week which means another great sketch is up over at Lets Get Sketchy for you to play along with.
I used a photo from my daughters school formal for inspiration and here is what l came up with

I have used a mix of paste, glass glitter, perfect pearls and ink on my background.

 I have added glass glitter to my chipboard circle
 Perfect pearls was added over the stenciled paste to add some shine
