What a busy week with school back and my youngest in her final year.

Selfie time

There is a new blog called MORE THAN WORDS and l had time to play along with their first challenge.
It's a challenge with a word twist. A photo of yourself with a personality description!

How to describe myself is a challenge on its own.
I 'hope', which is the title on my layout, my personality is bubbly but l find if l am in a social gathering l can be a bit on the quiet side amongst people l don't know.
Yet my job entails talking to people everyday that are often strangers.
I don't really understand that.

However, here is my layout

 

I have used some old papers and embellishments and added masking and ink to my background.

I have embossed the chipboard photo corners and added distress stain.

Let's Get Sketchy

Let's get Sketchy have a new sketch this week to play along with.
I flipped it to suit my photo.

Here is my layout

 

I have inked my background with black and yellow and decided to frame my photo with some twine. Added some lace down one side and some hessian like ribbon under the other side.

I'm getting through some of my daughters photos from her cruise around some of the Pacific Islands

This week I have flipped the sketch onto its side.

My papers are from Fab Scraps and I've added paste, ink and stain as well as some glass seed beads.

2015 is almost over and l'm looking forward to an exciting 2016!

Today l am sharing a layout for LGS with a Christmas theme, and what a fabulous Christmas we shared in my house this year.

I decided to use only 1 photo and not the 3 that the sketch had.

I have inked and layered and added some sticker embellishments and flowers.

11 Sleeps

Yes that's right, 11 sleeps till Christmas!

This week l am happy to share a layout of my daughter on a cruise she went on this time last year. Wow, where did this year go!!

It was based around the latest sketch at Lets Get Sketchy and you can find the sketch and see what the awesome design team has done HERE

 

I have used white card stock and a  mixture of Dylusions inks on my background

Added some stamping

Tucked some flowers under my distressed layers of patterned paper

Added a few buttons and my lettering are some old Heidi Swapp

Happy Days

Hello there, today l am sharing a layout using papers form Graphic 45, the World's fair Collection.

I hand cut the flowers and added some coloured twine. This was a quick and easy layout which is great when time is poor!
