Welcome to the Lets Get Sketchy/Picture This “ My One Word” Blog Hop.

You should have come from Connie's blog, http://www.timestocherish.blogspot.ca/

If you have stumbled across this by chance and want to play along, then you can head back to the Let's Get Sketchy site to begin with Buffy and start collecting your challenge words. These words should be bold on each DT member’s blog

Next up on the hop is Joefil, http://joefilcate.blogspot.com/
Make sure you hop on over to her blog to check out her wonderful NEW inspiration that she has for you.

Don’t forget, each team member has a word hidden someone on their page please grab all the words for your chance at an extra prize!

Now here is a NEW layout to share with you and it's titled Life is Beautiful. I have used papers from Webster's Pages

For my background I began with a mask and modelling paste. Once dry l added pink and red ink. Then over the top l added some stamping and ink splatters in black.
Here are some close ups

Then l began to added layers under my photo using paper, felt flowers, ribbon and lace

For the large chipboard embellishment and my title, l covered these with distress stain from Ranger and clear embossing powder, then added perfect pearls over the top.
The pink chipboard has two layers  - one of distress paint in Spun Sugar then perfect pearls in Blush.

Remember to play along in our hop challenge to win the wonderful prize from our sponsor, Creative Embellishments!  If you get lost along the way, head on back over to Let’s Get Sketchy for the line up! You can find us HERE

Please feel free to follow my blog and l will repay the "love"

Adore

Hello everyone, today l am sharing a layout using this weeks sketch over at Lets Get Sketchy
Check out what the design team has done this week HERE

I had lots of fun with this layout.
Here are some close ups and details
To begin with l added gesso over my background paper, then used a mask, adding distress stain and ink

I embossed some old letters in different colours to use as small embellishments

I've added some flowers from Manor House, a crochet heart from Bella Blvd, some bandage gauze under my photo, and a feather from Prima

The bling word is from Heidi Swapp (found in my stash)!

The chipboard frame is from Leaky Shed and I've added Perfect Pearls

Finally l added some bling sequins to my background.
Here is the sketch to follow and be in the running for a great prize
