I've added some flowers from Manor House, a crochet heart from Bella Blvd, some bandage gauze under my photo, and a feather from Prima

The bling word is from Heidi Swapp (found in my stash)!

The chipboard frame is from Leaky Shed and I've added Perfect Pearls

Finally l added some bling sequins to my background.

The month before christmas!

So here we are into November, school is almost finished for the year and the weather is heating up.
This week it's Team B on show at Lets Get Sketchy. You can see this weeks sketch and all the great layouts created HERE.
We have combined the sketch with a mood board, gorgeous warm colours of summer!

So onto my layout - this week l used white cardstock and coloured it using distress stains, paints and inks from Ranger. I have built up layers of colour using different stencils and here is what l finished up with

I began with a brick stencil but ended up covering almost all of it, haha

Here are some more close ups

The lighter colour is actually the underneath the red and yellow, l really like this effect. Firstly l started with distress paint and a stencil, then added distress stain so it looks like layers but feels flat if you touch the layout

My letters are Tim Holtz Grungeboard and l have added layers to these as well

Here is the sketch to follow and the mood board. I hope you can join in with us this week

October Week 2

Almost the middle of October, the shops are getting busy in preparation for Christmas and at work it is the season for weddings. So l thought my photo this week was appropriate to enjoy some time relaxing in all the hustle and bustle.

I stuck to the sketch and added some stamping to the border of my background paper, inked my edges and added a few buttons.
Here is the sketch to follow and check out what the design team has done HERE

Enjoy your day!

Happy Monday!

Good morning, today l have a layout to share using papers from Maya Design. I really like this line and they go well with the smoky background of my photo.
For once l didn't add any texture in the form of stencilling, paste etc, just some paper layering. I have added colour to the top of my ribbon with a gelato and inked my paper edges

Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Cool mornings and glorious days

It feels like spring may come early this year. Outside my door the fence is covered in Jasmine and some of it is already in bloom.
Today l have a layout to share from my cruise earlier this year.
I really like these papers but cannot remember the brand!
Lots of paper tearing, stencilling, inking and stamping with some seed beads added
Here are a couple of close ups

For the chipboard title l first added gesso then Perfect Pearls

Thanks for looking and enjoy your day:)
