DT work and a class by Trina McClune

Hi there, today l have a layout using this weeks sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.

Once again l have created a "messy" background using gelatos, washi tape, ink, paste and stencils.
Here is a close up
This is the sketch to follow
Check out what the other DT girls have created and upload your entry here for a great prize.

I was lucky enough to attend a class with the talented Trina McClune recently. We created 2 layouts using the new Debutante range from Prima and here is one l wanted to share today
(my other one is still waiting on a photo!!)

The beautiful papers and embellishments in this range are awesome and go with all types of photos.
Trina showed us a super cool way to use a doily and have the photo and embellishments poke out from under the torn back edges of the paper underneath.

Wherever you are l hope you are having a great week, creating masterpieces!

It's a long weekend here

I have a layout to share with you this week for the current sketch at Lets Get Sketchy, you can see the sketch HERE.

I created this layout with predominately cardstock and added colour using watercolour paint and gelatos.

I tore my card into different lengths to create a triangle effect as per the sketch.
I have also added some masking. There is a small piece of patterned paper under my pics and a length of ribbon underneath.

Here are some close ups
