Happy Australia Day !!

We are having a long weekend here to celebrate Australia Day. The weather has cooled a little and things are not so humid!

It is my teams week over at Lets Get Sketchy and here is my layout based on this weeks sketch

Well it's another Monday and time for a new sketch reveal at  Lets Get Sketchy

Here is my take, I did a christmas layout and flipped the sketch onto the side.
My papers and embellishments are from Pink Paislee.

 

I distressed my paper edges and added small chipboard pieces that l painted and then applied liquid pearl dots. This is the sketch to follow

Stuck challenge

Unfortunately it's back to work for me today :(

I raised some photos, matted stickers and popped them as well and for something different l placed my title over a photo

Time to scrap

Yay for holidays, l have some time to scrap for fun!
After having been so busy with my new job l finally found some free time to join in a challenge at My Creative Scrapbook. It's nice to get the mojo going again.
Here is my layout based on their current sketch at Sketches

 

So here is what l did - using white card as my background l randomly placed 2 masks and added texture with impasto. Once it was dry l added Java ink, then inked yellow over the top. My papers and stickers are from KaiserCraft.
The photo corners and scallop circle are from Pink Paislee - Artisan Elements - and l have inked these in yellow.
My vintage trinket is from Prima.
The lettering in my title is from Doodlebug.
