The latest sketch is up at Sketchabilities and it is my last post as part of their DT team. Time flies when you're having fun. These photos are from a crazy hat day Alana had at school some years ago.

Today

Have to get to work but l wanted to quickly upload a layout l did for Sketches with a Twist. The twist was to scrap something mother related.
As usual l did some masking and stamping and used those gorgeous liquid pearls. This photo was taken on Mother's Day a few years back
(thanks goodness l have lost that weight LOL)

Also thought l would use it for the current challenge at BTW. One of the words you could use is "she" and that is in my title.

Hand stitching time

I have 2 layouts to share today and l have hand stitched on both. I love this look but spare time is not always on my side.
The first layout is from the Week 3 sketch over at Let's get Sketchy

My stitching is the red swirl and around the border of the red patterned paper.

I used a mask on my base paper and added liquid pearls to the little squares

My second layout is for the current sketch at Stuck. 

 

 

I have stitched the red circles to tie in with the red of the scarf.

These photos bring back the happiest memories of our holiday together with my mum.

DT Call

Over at Let's Get Sketchy, they are having a DT call.
It is open to everyone, so l thought l would give it a go and you should too.
They have a sketch to interpret as part of the application and this is my take

Moment

Where exactly do the days go? Seriously there are not enough hours in the day. Does anyone else feel this? Another week has just passed me by in a flash.

Anyway....l thought l would combine a couple of challenges this week.
Over at BITW the word of the month is MOMENT and this is my layout

 

I have used a mask and sprayed inks over the texture once it was dry, did a little stamping and fussy cut some flowers. The papers are from Kaiser Craft

 

The current challenge over at Scrap for Help is to use a "napkin". I pleated mine and added it under my photo. I was lucky enough to have this one in my cupboard and the colours worked well with my papers

Today

I have a layout to share that is from the latest challenge over at White with 1.
Black, white and banners/badges were the criteria

 

I painted my background and added circle shapes over the top. My banner has multiple layers, here are some close ups
