Time Flies

Just where does the time go? My last post was over a month ago, l cannot believe it!
Here is my layout for BITW using the word BREATHE.

The papers are from Simple Stories. and the layout came together quickly.
I have hidden journalling under the smaller photos explaining Tom competing in his last cross country at school.

Using a stencil, l added some texture paste and machine stitching to the top third of the layout.

Here is another layout using those gorgeous papers and embellishments from Prima
I really love these bright colours. This is a recent photo of my Alana and myself.

I did some distressing and stamping, made some paper rosettes, added liquid pearls to the punched pattern paper, as well as to the inked chipboard fence.
The journalling is hidden under the photo and forms part of the title.

Christmas is quickly approaching and it's a busy time of year for everyone.
I hope it's a good time for you all :)

October Sketch

Another sketch is up at MCS

This is my take

The papers and embellishments are all Prima.
I have distressed 4 papers and used these as my backgrounds, to which l gave two a decorative punched edge.
I cut out some scalloped circles and layered these on doillies
My journalling is on the hidden tag with the orange ribbon.
The small flowers have been pulled apart and layered.
I added some buttons in similar colours and a little bit of bling

Thanks for looking.
If you are having a bet on the Melbourne Cup today, l hope you back a winner!

Music

Yes l am back after being AWOL for a few months. I am settling into a new house and have finally got the internet up and running. I cannot believe how reliant on Wi Fi l am.
I see l am up to double figures in followers as well, thanks girls :)

Music is one of the current words being used over at BTW. I know my life wouldn't be the same without music and here is my layout. We hired a DJ for Tom's 18th birthday and while he wasn't looking the girls couldn't miss a photo opportunity

I used a mixture of papers on this layout, some old and some new. Inked everything, layered flowers, buttons and chipboard, stamped some clocks, added a bling swirl, cut out some PP, inked flowers and added glitter to the large white flower. This one and the pink one are from Manorhouse Creations. The lettering is a mix of Basic Grey and Pink Paislee.

Thanks for looking and remember to keep smiling:)

I just love these colours!!
Embellishments are Pink Paislee chipboard stickers and rub ons, Echo Park stickers and Prima flowers and butterfly.
The Cherish stamp is from Kaiser
I have added liquid pearls and the little stars are made with texture paste and a mask

August Sketch

Happy Sunday everyone!!
Another month, another sketch to be done over at MCS and here is the sketch for September

Here is my take using papers from Simple Stories

Here are some close ups

Once l had cut out pieces from the PP'S this came together pretty quickly with layering and popping up certain elements. I am totally addicted to Liquid Pearls which l used in different colours to outline some of the shapes. Everything was inked and l found an old transperency which l tucked under my photo on the left side. Cut out some paper flowers, added some twine and Prima flowers and l'm done.

Glitz Design papers

Here are a couple of layouts recently done using papers and embellishments from Glitz

It's so easy to design pages when you use everything from the same collection.
Here are some close ups

I distressed and inked all the papers and added liquid pearls to the printed sentiment on the background paper. Border punches were used and Spellbinders dies

I used a mixture of flowers from Prima, Manor House and others l had in my stash. The main butterfly is Prima

Here is another layout. I love this photo of my mum and Tom.

The bottom half of the page is another paper layered over the top of the background and border punched. The Believe stamp is from Kaisercraft
Liquid pearls have been added along the edge of the floral paper, the chipboard half circle has been painted and mod podge put over that.
The flowers are once again a mixture of Prima and Manorhouse

Here are a couple of close ups

Reached the End

Well it seems like such a long time since l blogged something.
Oh yeah, it is!!
Life is busy, busy, busy but l did manage to finish a layout for BTW
The word to use was REACH and l hid the journalling under the photo.
After a delayed flight out of Vegas we arrived in Maimi to find we had missed our connecting flight to Orlando by 15 minutes.
The airline put us up in a hotel and gave us vouchers to use for dinner in the airport.
This is us eating our dinner on the run. We were tired and sad to have missed out flight.

Here are some close ups

I have used liquid pearls to outline the black flower, added twine over the top, cut out some of the papers, inked and layered. The papers are from Teresa Collins.

Thanks for looking, leave a comment if you like and please feel free to be a follower

Gotta Love Sketches

I wanted to use this sketch for a layout so l did a bit of a rush job this week.
It's from Sketchabilities - check them out

Here is my take - more pictures from our Disney World trip

The whole layout is made from the July main kit at My Creative Skcrapbook
The papers are from Carta Bella and have the most amazing texture.

So this time l used a mask and added misting as well
I cut out a banner and popped it up over the top banner on the paper.
Everything has been inked.
The circles on my bottom banner are popped as well
 Here are some close ups

Must dash, the kids are starrrrving. (familiar sounds l hear at this time of the day)

Moving is sooo exhausting. It's been a week since we moved out of our lovely home. Everything has gone into storage and the kids and l are about to start a new chapter in our lives! Lets hope it brings happiness and good times.

Here are a couple of layouts l did in between all the packing.

The papers are Prima and l cut out elements and inked them

The chipboard is from Imaginarium Designs which l just inked

These lovely flowers are from Manorhouse Creations

Here is another layout using a kit from My Creative Scrapbooks This was the June main kit.

The papers and embellishments are gorgeous and are from Prima
I cut out lots of flowers and also made some from punches that l inked and popped up.
I also punched out a frame for my photo
Lastly l added liquid pearl drops to outline some elements
